South Africans have come out stronger than ever, giving out every support to Olympic 800m champion, Caster Semenya after loosing appeal against IAAF testosterone rules.
The Court of Arbitration for Sport (Cas) rejected Caster’s challenge against the IAAF’s new rules. But she said it had “serious concerns as to the future practical application” of the regulations
For a decade the IAAF has tried to slow me down, but this has actually made me stronger. The decision of Cas will not hold me back,” said Semenya in a statement.
“I will once again rise above and continue to inspire young women and athletes in South Africa and around the world.”
